Mobile Monday Austin and Blackberry Playbook

July 11, 2011 (Austin, Texas) – Media Sourcery participated and demoed a new pilot application on the Blackberry Playbook at the recent Mobile Monday Austin meeting at the AT&T Conference Center on the University of Texas Campus. The demo was of a secure referral application, which will be piloted on iOS and Android devices as well as Playbook for a large healthcare customer.

Odyssey Healthcare ranked #78 in Information Week 500

September 15, 2010 – Odyssey Healthcare (now Gentiva), a large customer of Media Sourcery’s AppMobilizer product, was announced as #78 in the 2010 Information Week 500 list yesterday.

Odyssey was the number #1 Healthcare company in the Dallas area on the list, and the #3 company with revenues under $1.5 billion on the list.

The photo at the right shows the Odyssey Healthcare IT Team (Matthew, Bob, VP of IT James “Zeke” Zoccoli, Brent and Paul) receiving the award.

In the article entitled “InformationWeek 500: Healthcare Innovators”, the photo shows AppMobilizer on the smartphone and on the screen behind. Odyssey has been using AppMobilizer to take confidential patient health information (PHI) that was captured on paper forms and rapidly accelerate the time from visit-to-bill by entering into smartPhones and desktop browsers using AppMobilizer and automatically loading the data into their billing system and data warehouse reporting system. The solution provides layers of security (including audit trail) in a non-intimidating fashion, and is used by Nurses, Hospice Aides, Office Managers and other mobile healthcare workers.
